ABOUT
Jet ter Halle is a Dutch documentary photographer who is dedicated to documenting social issues. She wants to generate dialogue by confronting her audience with the experiences of her subjects.
You can see my documentary 'Freedom Seekers' on this website, which is about asylum seekers who have fled their country because of their sexual orientation. In her approach, she spends a lot of time with the subjects in their daily life and explores what they feel, what they express, and how they try to find a way to build a new life in Paris. My project in Afghanistan will be shown on my website soon.
Jet ter Halle is also specialized in corporate photography. She likes to visualize the story of entrepreneurs and their passion, the process of their services, and of course the people who are involved. Jet has an eye to catch people fully engaged in the moment, letting people feel at ease quickly to capture the people as they truly are.
Learning by experiencing and experimenting in an environment where we feel free and supported is the best way of learning in my perspective. If you experiment with others, you always gain more perspectives. Experimenting with like-minded people who are crazy and curious about photography makes me incredibly happy! If you want to hire me for a photography workshop or course send me a mail or give me a call.
